COVID-19: Odisha CM launches healthcare facilities in 8 more distrticts

Bhubaneawar, June 24: Strengthening medical infrastructure to save precious lives from COVID-19 pandemic, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday inaugurated healthcare facilities and laid foundation for medical oxygen storage and generation plants at different hospitals across the State.

The Chief Minister CM inaugurated 12-bed Special Neonatal Care Unit & OPD Complex at City Hospital in Berhampur, 4-bed Dialysis Unit at Sub-Divisional Hospital in Bhanjanagar, PHC at Hugulapata of Kukudahandi block, and OPD Complex at Community Health Centre, Bomkei, Digapahandi block.

Chief Minister Patnaik also laid foundation for Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) Storage Vessel Systems & Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) based oxygen generation plants at District Headquarters Hospitals in Bargarh, Ganjam, Jajpur, Kandhamal Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Rayagada, and Malkangiri.
