DS Kutey awarded President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service

Bhubaneswar, January 25: Senior IPS officer Dhirendra Sambhaji Kutey has been chosen for President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service. The 1997-batch IPS Officer is now serving as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.

Constable of Odisha Vigilance Directorate Prahallad Kumar Rout has also been honoured with President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

Similarly, eleven other police officials have also been selected for the Police Medal for Meritorious Service, which is conferred on the occasion of Republic Day every year.

They are Bhadrak Additional SP Jatindra Kumar Panda, Bargarh Additional SP Pradyumna Kumar Mishra, Vigilance DSP (Sundargarh Unit) Sudhansu Sekhar Pujari, Bhubaneswar ACP Himansu Bhusan Swain, BPSPA Bhubaneswar Deputy Commandant Gyanendra Kumar Das.

Bhubaneswar Security Wing Inspector Arun Baliarsingh, Berhampur Vigilance Division SI Jugala Kishor Pradhan, Constable Nuapatna Cuttack Sarwordin Khan, ASI of Police (Computer) SCRB Bhubaneswar Bijnyan Busan Mohanty, Drill Inspector of Police Bhubaneswar Anil Kumar Minz and Sepoy 4th Battalion Rourkela Pradeep Kumar Behera have been awarded with Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
