Bhubaneswar, May 31: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Wednesday announced the Plus-II Science and Commerce results.
The overall pass percentage in Plus-II Science steam is 84.93 per cent. At 96.41%, Nayagarh recorded the highest pass percentage while Gajapati lowest at 61.55%.
Total 92,590 students (90,679 Regular & 2,271 Ex-regular) had appeared for examination in Science stream of which 78,938 have passed. As many as 39,573 students secured first division, while 24,257 students got second division and 14,852 candidates got third division.
Two higher secondary schools recorded nil results in the Science stream.
Similarly, the overall pass percentage in Plus-II Commerce steam stood at 81.12 per cent. While Nayagarh registered the highest pass percentage of 93.9 in the Science stream, Boudh lowest at 55.55%.
As many as 24,082 students (23,002 Regular & 1,065 Ex-regular, 15 Correspondence) appeared for examination in Commerce stream of which 19,536 have passed. Total 7,410 students secured first division, 4,543 second division and 7,492 got third division
In both the streams, girls outshined boys. The pass percentage of girls in Science stream stands at 85.67. In comparison 84.28% boys passed the exam.
In the Commerce stream, girls registered 83.87 pass percentage while 79.52% boys passed the exam.
