CM approves 4% hike in DA for Odisha Govt employees, pensioners

Bhubaneswar, October 20: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday announced a four per cent increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (TI) for the State Government employees and pensioners. The DA was last hiked to 42 per cent in the State.

“The State Government announced release of 4 per cent additional dose of Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (TI) in favour of State Government Employees and Pensioners respectively to enhance the rate from 42% to 46%,” said a Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) communiqué.

“The enhanced DA and TI will be paid retrospectively from July 1, 2023. This will benefit 4.5 lakh State Government employees and 3.5 lakh pensioners,” it added.
