Bhubaneswar, December 27: In another significant step towards attracting and retaining quality manpower for smooth delivery of health services, the State Government has restructured Odisha Homeopathic Medical Service (OHMS) cadre with corresponding pay revision in the cadre, said an official release.
“As per the revised structure, the total cadre strength was enhanced to 630 with 399 posts at base level,” said notification issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department Secretary Shalini Pandit.
According to the notification, there would be 196 posts at the first promotional hierarchy in the pay matrix of level-12 under ORSP Rules.
“The number of the posts of Deputy Director in the pay level-13, would be enhanced to two for opening more promotional opportunity in the cadre. The fourth promotional hierarchy in the cadre would be the post of Joint Director in the pay level-14,” it said.
The revised cadre would include one Joint Director, two Deputy Directors, 32 DHMOs, Deputy Superintendent and CMOs and 399 Deputy HMs.
The officers in OHMS cadre welcome this resolution, and thanked State Government for the move.
