Bhubaneswar, May 4: External Affairs Minister and BJP stalwart Dr S Jaishankar on Saturday exuded confidence that people of Odisha will definitely repose their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“This visit of mine is to add my voice to those of my colleagues that people of Odisha make right choice when go to vote that they will vote to strengthen the hands of PM Modi helping us to pass 400. People of Odisha will definitely repose their trusts in Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said Jaishankar while interacting with media persons here.
Jaishankar said “The iconic Konark Sun Temple wheel that took centre stage at the G20 Summit in Delhi shows that how much respect the Prime Minister has for the State of Odisha and its culture.”
“Odisha is a State which has an enormous resource base. It has a tremendous culture and it is widely admired in the world and internationally. By making the Konark wheel the branding of the G20 in the world, we have today help to stir international interest coming to Odisha. We hope there would be many more opportunities for tourism industry to grow here,” added the EAM.
Jaishankar said, “As a Foreign Minister, I have had an opportunity to appreciate the talent and skills of citizens of Odisha abroad.
