Bhubaneswar, September 19: Supreme Court judge Justice Vineet Saran on Sunday inaugurated the permanent office of the Odisha Real Estate Appellate Tribunal at A-1 Block, 7th Floor, Toshali Bhawan in Satyanagar here in the presence of Orissa High Court Chief Justice Dr S Muralidhar and tribunal Chairperson Justice SC Parija.
The Court and Office of the Tribunal will start functioning in its permanent place from September 27. The Tribunal has been functioning at Zone-A/2, 4th Floor, Fortune Tower, Chandrasekharpur since September 2, 2020.
The State Government in the Housing and Urban Development Department through its Odisha Urban Housing Missions (OUHM), Bhubaneswar has expeditiously provided all the administrative, financial and logistic supports for renovation and interior work of the permanent office and the work was swiftly executed by Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) despite of the restrictions of lockdown and shutdown owning to COVID-19.
Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, H&UD Department Principal Secretary G Mathi Vathanan, Law Department Principal Secretary Radha Krishna Pattanaik, Finance Department Principal Secretary Vishal Dev, Advocate General Ashok Parija, Orissa HC Registrar General Chitaranjan Dash, Commissioner of Police Soumendra Priyadarshi, among others were present.
Tribunal judicial member Ishan Kumar Das, Technology and Administrative member Malay Chattereee, Registrar Akhil Kumar Paschimakabat, Accounts Officer Madhusudhan Rout and the employees coordinated the event.
