Bhubaneswar, December 20: The Odisha Professional Social Workers Association (OPSWA) has planned to expand its size by inducting more members in to its forum.
This was discussed at the annual general body meeting held under the Clchairmanship of OPSWA president Sneha Manjari Mishra who has retained her post for another one year.
Professional social workers those who are passing out from various educational institutes will be motivated through special drive to join the association planned.
Speaking on the occasion as chief guest noted social worker Dr PK Sahu expressed his satisfaction over the contribution of social workers as very powerful, he suggested digitally they can bring wonderful changes.
A dedicated website www.opswa.in of the association was also launched on this occasion.
The formal meeting was held before electing the office bearers for the next term. This meeting was attended by its members residing at different parts of the country in both physical and virtual mode, said secretary Dr Jharana Swain. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the regular activities, which has been seized, will continue effectively as planned.
