Bhubaneswar, September 24: In view of heavy rush in special trains towards Surat and Ahmedabad from Odisha, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) is providing two more special trains towards Gujarat.
These trains are Khurda Road -Surat-Khurda Road Weekly Special via Sambalpur- Titilagarh and Raipur (02827/02828).
From Khurda Road at 8.40 PM on every Sunday from September 27 to October 18 and from Surat at 8.30 PM on every Tuesday from September 29 to October 20.
It will have stoppages at Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, Talcher Road, Angul, Sambalpur, Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titilagarh, Kantabanji, Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Nagpur, Bhusabal, Jalgaon and other important Stations between Khurda Road and Surat from both the directions.
The Khurda Road-Ahmedabad-Khurda Road Special via Vizianagaram-Duvvada-Vijayawada-Wardha (08407/08408).
From Khurda Road at 10.40 PM on every Wednesday from September 30 to October 21 and from Ahmedabad at 12.15 PM on every Saturday (mid night of Friday) from October 3 to October 24.
It will have stoppages at Berhampur, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Kottavalasa, Duvvada, Anakapalli, Rajahmundry, Elluru, Vijayawada, Warangal, Ramagundam, Manchiryal, Sirpur Kaghaz Nagar, Balharshah, Chandrapur, Wardha, Badnera, Bhusabal, Jalgaon, Paldi, Nandurbar, Surat, Bharuch and Vadodara between Khurda Road and Ahmedabad from both the directions.
In addition to these two pairs of Special Trains towards Surat and Ahmedabad, now nine pairs of special trains will provide service between Odisha and Gujarat.
