ECoR to run two parcel trains between April 9-15 amid lockdown

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (EcoR) has decided to run two Parcel Express trains under its jurisdiction between April 9 and 15, said an official release.

While one train will run between Visakhapatnam-Sambalpur-Visakhapatnam, another will run between Visakhapatnam-Cuttack-Visakhapatnam. Both the trains will carry essential goods to different loading and unloading points, said an ECoR communiqué.

Visakhapatnam-Sambalpur-Visakhapatnam Parcel Express Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 9 am April 9, 11 and 13 and will arrive at Sambalpur at 5.30 pm on the same day. In the return direction, this train from Sambalpur will leave at 9 am on April 10, 12 and 14and will reach at Visakhapatnam at 5.30 pm hrs on the same day.

Similarly, Visakhapatnam-Cuttack-Visakhapatnam Parcel Express train from Visakhapatnam will leave at 10 am from April 9 to 14 and will arrive at Cuttack at 6.30 pm on the same day. In the return direction, it will leave from Cuttack at 9 am between April 10 and 15 and will reach at Visakhapatnam at 5.30 pm on the same days.

Apart from these parcel trains being run by ECoR, some inter-zonal parcel trains are also running which pass through ECoR jurisdiction.

Inter railway parcel special

1. Train No 00759 SC-HWH will leave SC @22.00 hrs on 09.04.20 & reach HWH @04.00hrs(2nd day) with stoppages at SCMN, KUR & BBS and  train no 00760 HWH – SC  Spl leave HWH at 16.05 hrs on 11.04.20 & reach SC @ 18.00 hrs(2nd day).
2. Train No 00603 SBC/YPR -HWH will leave YPR @13.00 hrs on 08.04.20/11.04.20 & reach HWH @ 02.00hrs with stoppages at KUR & BBS and train no 00604 HWH YPR Spl leave HWH at 11.00’hrs on 10.04.20/13.04.2020 & reach YPR @ 21.30 hrs.
3. Train No 00609 -YPR-GHY will leave YPR @ 13.00 hrs on 07.04.20 & reach GHY @21.15 hrs with stoppages at KUR & BBS in ECoR. Train no 00610 GHY YPR Spl leaves GHY at 09.00Hrs on 10.04.20 & reach YPR @ 17.45 hrs.
