Rayagada, July 17: Utkal Alumina International Ltd., a unitof Aditya Birla Group has bagged yet another prestigious award – BT CSR
Excellence Award on Women Empowerment category. The company received this award
for its contribution towards women empowerment by giving an opportunity to
bring them to main stream of life through earning with dignity.

2016 organised by popular news magazine Bureaucracy Today on July 14 in New
Delhi.

On behalf of Utkal Alumina, the award was received by Siba
Sankar Mahapatra, AGM-CSR from Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Public
Enterprises Anant Geete. It is worth mentioning here that the company has been
taking a gamut of CSR projects in the sectors of education, healthcare, sustainable
livelihood, village infrastructure development and social issues and has been
contributing meaningfully to the society around.
