Three Odisha IAS officers get Union Secretary rank

Aditya Prasad Padhi, Injeti Srinivas and Alka Panda along
with 42 IAS officers of different State cadres (1983 batch) have been empanelled
in the rank of Secretary/equivalent in Government of India, a notification of
the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) stated. 

For the first time three Odisha cadre IAS officers have been
empanelled in the Secretary/equivalent rank at the Centre. 

While Padhi is now serving as the Chief Secretary of Odisha,
Srinivas is serving as the Director General Sports Authority of India (SAI). Secretary/equivalent
tag was attached to Alka Panda, who is now serving as Director General of
Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
