Currently,
the STCC, comprising 33 State Cooperative Banks and 370 Districts Central
Co-operative Banks, is passing through a critical phase of transition. In the
wake of new regulatory norms prescribed by the Reserve Bank of India and more
particularly, adoption of CBS and IT enables products by Cooperative Banks, it
is the utmost importance to have suitable manpower for effective delivery of
banking products and services in the current scenario. The committee is likely
to address this key concern.
