3.24 lakh Odisha Govt employees’ database online now

Oct 24: So far, the database of 3.24 lakh regular Government employees has been
updated in the human resources management system (HRMS). The salary bills and
other financial transactions are being made through this automated system. The
annual increment, GPF other advances and leave matters would also be put to
auto mode through this software. 
This
was revealed at the Board of Governors meeting of Center for Modernizing Government
Initiatives (CMGI) held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad
Padhi at the State Secretariat here on Monday wherein GA Special Secretary Ashok
Meena along with Additional Secretary, Administrative Reforms RS Gopalan
presented the updates and outlined the issues for discussion.
Reviewing
the progress, the Chief Secretary directed to keep HRMS updated with latest
circulars of Government.
In
compliance with the earlier orders of the Chief Secretary CMGI has developed
the Common Application Portal (CAP) for electronics delivery of G2C and G2B
services under Odisha Right to Public Services Act. 
In the first phase 18
public services of five departments have been integrated with this common
application portal. The services like issue of birth certificate, death
certificate, national family benefit scheme, disabled pension, widow pension,
old age pension, Madhubabau pension Yojana, CM relief fund, conversion order of
lease gold plots, mutation order of lease hold plots, migration certificate,
duplicate diploma certificate, transcript verification certificate, photocopy
of the answer sheets of examinations, semester mark sheet, FIR registration etc
have been integrated with CAP. Chief Secretary directed various departments to
put more services on this online portal. It was decided that all 324 public
services would be integrated with this application and the portal would be
linked to Common Services Centers. These centers can deliver the services
integrated with online portal with user fees of Rs 10 for each application.

guidelines
It
was decided in the meeting that the CAP portal would be put in Odia very soon. The
work plan for 2016-17 with estimated expenditure of Rs 8.50 crore was approved
in the meeting to carry forward these activities.
