New Delhi, December 14, 2017: The Winter Session of theParliament will begin from Friday.
On November 24, the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary
Affairs (CCPA) recommended convening of Winter Session of the Parliament from
December 15, 2017 to January 5, 2018, subject to exigencies of government
business.

Three Bills – The Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to
States) Ordinance, 2017 (promulgated on 02.09.17), Insolvency and Bankruptcy
Code (Amendment) Ordinance, 2017, and Indian Forest (Amendment) Ordinance,
2017- will be tabled in the ensuing Winter Session.
