Bhubaneswar: Students of SAI International School were awarded with several prizes for their artistic talent and creativity in the Poster Making Competition organised by Spatial Planning and Analysis Research Centre (SPARC) Pvt. Ltd, Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
The competition on the theme “Sustainable Development” was conducted on the occasion of World GIS Day.
Krishna Tanukrishna of Class-VIII won the first position in senior category while two Class-V students Debang Bhuyan and Maitryee Dutta won the first and second position, respectively in the junior category.
And, the consolation prizes went to Dibyaahish Mohanty of Class-IX, Ahana Amlan of Class-VII, Pratyuah Das of Class-VIII, Dibyangi Sahoo of Class-IX, Akankahya Sahoo of Class-X and Sohan Samal of Class-IX.
The students participated enthusiastically and presented their original ideas and views on the given theme. The prizes were given away by Trident Academy chief mentor BB Panigrahi in the presence of SPARC MD and CEO Subhadarshi Mishra.
