Sainik School hosts national teachers’ training workshop

Bhubaneswar: A six-day All India Sainik Schools’ Teachers’ training workshop was inaugurated at Sainik School here by School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Monday.

A total of 116 teachers from the 28 Sainik Schools across the country have participated in the workshop scheduled to end on June 22.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister hailed the city Sainik School for securing fourth position in CBSE Class-XII results amongst 24 Sainik Schools of the Country.

He also said that the proposed second Sainik School being established at Sambalpur will play as another milestone in providing quality education to the youth of Odisha.

Air Marshal JN Burma, AVSM, VSM, Dr PC Agrawal, Principal, RIE, Bhubaneswar, Amitabh Swain, president, Old Boys’ Association graced the inaugural event. Group Captain S Dominic Rayan, Principal, Sainik School Bhubaneswar, Wing Commander Amitabh Ranjan, Vice Principal, Commander N Santhosh Kumar, Administrative Officer, B Pradhan, Senior Master and Anima Nanda graced the occasion.
