Naveen announces ‘Odisha- Mo Parivar’ programme

Bhubaneswar: BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday announced a new programme of his party – ‘Odisha- Mo Parivar’ (Odisha – My family) with an aim to protect environment, encourage blood donation and help Odias stranded in foreign countries.

The programme will be carried out under social service programme of the regional party.

Senior party leader and former Mumbai Police Commissioner Arup Patnaik have been appointed as the convenor of the programme while MPs Pinaki Mishra, Chandrasekhar Sahu, Achyut Samant, MLA Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak and party leader Nalinikant Pradhan have been nominated as the co-convenors.

The Chief Minister asked the party leaders and workers to conduct plantation drive extensively in the State, organise blood donations camps and help Odias stranded in foreign countries for various reasons.
