Bhubaneswar: On the second anniversary of Mo School campaign, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday called on alumni and larger community of Odisha to join the movement to create healthy ecosystem for education.
“Alumni are the key to an institution’s growth. They should join the movement in large number,” said Patnaik.
On this occasion, CM launched Mo School Mobile App, a Coffee Table book and Newsletter at Lok Seva Bhavan here.
The Chief Minister also felicitated Amarendra Sahoo who is the contributor of Mo School App. He is a techno-entrepreneur and co-founder of home rental network Nestaway.
The Chief Minister said “Mo School” Mobile App is both an android and IOS-based mobile application which connects alumni and community members on a platform, for the betterment of the schools.
The Coffee Table Book of Mo School depicts two years progress of Mo School Abhiyan adopted in various Government schools across Odisha, in a pictorial form while the Newsletter of Mo School Abhiyan is a compilation of success stories and practices adopted in various Government schools. It also gives a fair knowledge on various activities conducted in schools under the initiative.
Among others, School and Mass Education Minister Sameer Ranjan Dash, Mo School Abhiyan Chairperson Susmita Bagchi, Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripaty was present.
