Sixth Coronavirus positive case reported in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Another person on Friday, with travel history to Delhi, tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Cuttack, taking the total number of positive cases in Odisha to six, of which two patients have been cured and discharged.

“6th COVID positive case of the State detected in Cuttack with recent travel history to Delhi,” tweeted Health and Family Welfare Department.

Meanwhile, the first and the second Covid-19 patients, undergoing treatment at the Capital Hospital and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here, have been discharged on April 3 and April 1, respectively after their test reports came negative convectively in last 24 hours.

There are four active novel Coronavirus cases now in the State.

Meanwhile, the State Government decided to completely shutdown Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Bhadrak Town for 48-hours starting 8 pm today to prevent community spreading.
