President Kovind arrives in Odisha on 3-day visit

Bhubaneswar, March 20: President Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Bhubaneswar on Saturday evening on three-day visit to Odisha.

He was received at the Biju Patnaik International Airport here by Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union MoS Pratap Sarangi, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra and Director General of Police Abhay.

The President will grace the 18th annual convocation of NIT Rourkela on Sunday. On the same day, he will inaugurate a super specialty hospital in the Rourkela steel plant, according to a Rashtrapati Bhavan communique.

On March 22, the President will visit the India Oil Foundation Trust Interpretation Centre at Konark and Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri, before returning to New Delhi, the statement said.
