COVID-19: ECoR GM urges public not to visit railway offices

Bhubaneswar, April 16: In view of upsurge in Covid-19 cases, East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager Vidya Bhushan on Friday appealed to the general public to refrain from visiting railway offices.

He also requested that, instead of visiting offices physically, correspondences may be done by means of email, phone, fax or by SMS.

Apart from this, Vidya Bhushan also advised railway men to follow COVID appropriate behavior strictly by wearing face maskscompulsorily, maintaining social distancing positively, washing/sanitising hands frequently and vaccinating themselves on their turns immediately.

“This will save them, their families, the country and the society as a whole from theresurgent pandemic,” said Bhusan in a release.
