Bhubaneswar, February 23: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with hus family, on Sunday visited Prayagraj on the occasion of Mahakumbh, and took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam.
“It is an extraordinary privilege and a deeply spiritual experience to witness the sacred Mahakumbh at Prayagraj. It’s a confluence of faith, tradition, and divinity,” said Majhi.
He further said that the holy bath at the Triveni Sangam symbolizes purification of the soul, unity of humanity, and the eternal flow of wisdom and devotion.
Describing the event as a reflection of our cultural ethos, he said “As crores of devotees from across the nation and beyond gather here with immense faith, the atmosphere becomes a reflection of India’s rich cultural heritage and spiritual ethos. The spirit of devotion, discipline, and harmony seen during this grand congregation is truly inspiring.”
He extended his reverence to this sacred occasion and prayed for the well-being, peace, and prosperity of all.
Expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for enhancing the spirit of India, he said, “It’s my heavenly pleasure to work under his active guidance and empowered advice.”
He also thanked UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his committed excellence to make it a grand success with exemplary success.
The CM also spoke to UP Chief Minister over telephone and expressed his thanks for the wonderful arrangements at Mahakumbh.
Uttar Pradesh Food and Civil Supplies Minister Satish Sharma received the CM at Prayagrag airport and remained with him throughout the visit in Prayagraj while he had a holy dip with puja and Aarti as per rituals at sangam confluence.
