79 bottles of foreign liquors, 3 held

Bhubaneswar: The Laxmisagar police and the quick action team
of the Commissionerate Police during a joint raid late on Thursday night seized
79 bottles of foreign liquors from Ashoka and Kaveri Hotel and arrested three
persons in this case.

While 60 bottles of wine including Mac Dowell, Royal Stag
and Derby were seized from the veranda of Ashoka Hotel, the joint team arrested
Ganeshwar Sahu and Santosh Sahu from the spot. 

Similarly, 19 bottles of wines of the above varieties were
seized from Kaveri hotel veranda and Chittaranjan Mohapatra was arrested from
the spot. Rs. 1100 was seized from his possession. They all
