Bhubaneswar: The Odisha unit of Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday celebrated
its spectacular debut in Delhi by winning 28 seats of 70 Assembly seats.

“The party’s success in Delhi elections will send a strong
message to rest of the country. It proves people now want complete change in
system followed by so called major political parties such as Congress and BJP,”
said Odisha State unit AAP Convenor Nishikant Mohapatra in a press meet at the
party head office in Bhubaneswar.
He too described the success as win over black money, liquor
and muscle power of age old parties such as BJP and Congress.
“In Odisha BJP and Congress have failed completely to oppose
the ruling BJD. In days to come Aam Aadmi Party will emerge as an alternative
to BJD in Odisha by spreading awareness among people regarding their basic
rights,” said Mohapatra.
