Sesa Sterlite observes World T.B day, launches RSBY scheme

Bhubaneswar: Sesa Sterlite under its HSE department has
celebrated the world TB day by creating awareness among the students and as
well as the AWW Workers and Asha members. The participants took out a rally from
DAV Vedanta School to Vedanta Hospital with lots of slogans, placards towards
eradicating TB. 
Inaugurating the
seminar on world TB day Dr Mukesh Kumar COO and President said, “Sesa Sterlite
has been trying for a healthy surrounding in association with Odisha Government
Health department towards eradicating TB from the region. He also added that
Health is wealth and emphasizes on prevention to health issues.”
Among others, Koustav Ratan Kundu-Head HR, Rabi Narayan
Mishra-Head HSE, Dr Sabita Swain-Chief Medical Officer, Dr Nrusingha
Dash-Doctor SCB medical, Tuna Panigrahi-Pharmacist from Lanjigarh Hospital were
present on the occasion.
Later Sesa Sterlite has launched the RSBY scheme by COO
& President Dr Mukesh Kumar. RSBY Scheme is a State Government initiative
towards providing insurance to the BPL Families @ Rs 30/-.This can help the
poor people in the region for a better life and better treatment. Now Vedanta
hospital with specialist doctors providing better treatment to the people in
the vicinity. Company has also providing free medicine, free treatment and
providing ambulance services at doorstep to the community.
