Swami murder: VHP demands Narco tests on Cong leader, Archbishop

Phulbani, Aug 24: Peeved over
alleged delay in the arrest of culprits in the killing of Swami Laxmananda
Saraswati, Viswa Hindu Parisad (VHP) Phulbani unit leaders on Saturday demanded
Narco analysis test of former Parliament member Radhakant Naik and Archbishop
Raphael Cheenath for their alleged involvement in the murder Swami six years
ago.

The speakers here at
the meeting, held here to mark the completion of 150 years of VHP alleged that
the investigation had become a farce and scores of disciples and followers of
the slain VHP leader had been denied justice.
“We demand immediate Narco
analysis test on Radhakant Naik and Raphal Cheenath as it was suspected that
they are plotted the murder of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati,” said VHP leader
and Jalespata ashram chief Jibana Muktananda Ji.
The meeting which was
attended by Pranta member of Aditya Vahini of Gobardhana Pitha Puri Mahesh Bhai,
Utkal Pranta chief Harishchandra Pradhan, RSS Bibagha Pracharak Sanatan Majhi
and Ganpati Bhai of Bajarang dal laid emphasis on safety and security of Hindus
and their seers in the country.

They also remembered
the achievements of Swamiji in developing the socioeconomic and educational
status of poor and downtrodden people in the district.
