Odisha BJP’s year-long events to mark Deendayal centenary from tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, Sep 24: The Odisha unit of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP)
is all set to start off the year long birthday centenary celebrations of Pundit
Deendayal Upadhyaya, beginning Sunday.
Pundit Deendayal Upadhyaya was the party ideologue of the
Bhartiya Jana Sangh, the forerunner of the BJP.
State-level Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Birth Centenary
Committee coordinator and BJP State vice-president Nayan Kishore Mohanty told
reporters here that the event will be held from September 25, 2015 to September
25, 2016.
The BJP national executive jointly with the Rashtriya
Parishad is organising a meeting from 
September 23 to 25 at Kojhikod in Kerala
to mark the beginning of the celebrations.
The programme would be inaugurated by Prime Minister
Narendra Modi on Sunday.
Plantation programme, blood donation camp, rallies, sports and
quiz competitions and Yoga and Pranayam camps etc would be held throughout the
year, Mohanty said. The contribution of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya would be
discussed.

Bartta’s chief editor Purnachandra Mallick, executive editor Bhubanananda
Tripathy were present.
