New CISF barrack opened at Bhubaneswar airport

Bhubaneswar, Nov 8: Airports Authority of India (AAI) Chairman
Dr Guruprasad Mohapatra on Tuesday inaugurated the Central Industrial Security Force
(CISF) barrack here at the Biju Patnaik International Airport.
The barrack constructed at a cost of Rs 299.86 lakh will accommodate
80 CISF personnel. Mohapatra opened the facility in the presence of Sanjay
Jain, Regional Executive Director (Eastern Region), R Mahalingam, Airport
Director, Bhubaneswar Airport, H K Brahma, Deputy Commandant, CISF and other
senior officials.
Later, Mohapatra also inspected various installations and has
reviewed the developmental activities of projects. These include constructions
of New Control Tower, New Fire Station and Hangar/Taxiway. 
He also deliberated
on issues likely to be taken up in near future like construction of Parallel
Taxiway and Extension of Apron.
He also held discussions with senior airport officials
regarding development activities of the airport and assured all possible
support from the AAI.
