Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) scheduled to be held in the first week of May was postponed due to extension of nationwide lockdown period.
The next date of the examination will be announced later, informed OJEE Chairman Sudeep Kumar Chand on Tuesday.
OJEE is a computer-based entrance examination held every year for admission to B.Pharm/MBA/MCA/ M.Tech/M.Tech (Part Time)/ M.Arch/ M Plan/ M.Pharm/ Integrated MBA and Lateral Entry to B.Tech/ B.Pharm/ MCA Courses in Government and private universities and colleges of Odisha.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the last day of the 21-day countrywide lockdown on Tuesday extended the lockdown till May 3 to effectively contain the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
