OPSC maintains high level of transparency in recruitment process: CM Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar, July 8: Maintaining that the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has maintained a high level of transparency by leveraging tech and following best practices in the field of recruitment, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday said that in recent years, OPSC has enabled itself to conduct huge number of recruitment drives faster

The Chief Minister was speaking at the 75th foundation day ceremony of Odisha Public Service Commission here.

“In recent years, Odisha Public Service Commission has enabled itself to conduct huge numbers of recruitment drives faster. The Commission has maintained a high level of transparency by leveraging technology and following best practices in the field of recruitment,” said Patnaik.

The Chief Minister extended warm greetings to the Chairman and Members of OPSC. He also congratulated the former Chairpersons and Members of the Commission for their significant contribution to the institution.

Mentioning that OPSC is mandated to conduct recruitments for appointments to the services of the State, Chief Minister Patnaik said that OPSC’s journey in the last 75 years has been remarkable.

“Thousands of men and women selected by OPSC in public administration have made stellar contributions to development,” added Patnaik.

Among others, OPSC Chairman Satajit Mohanty was also present.
