Bhubaneswar: In a significant move, the Government of Odisha’s Home Department has issued a directive to cancel all leaves, training, and leave travel concessions (LTC) for IPS officers in the state. The decision was conveyed through a memorandum issued by Trilochan Majhi, IAS, Additional Secretary to Government, on 9th May 2025.
The memorandum, addressed to the Director General of Police (DGP) of Odisha, Cuttack, states that no IPS officer will be permitted to proceed on leave, training, or LTC until further notice, due to the emerging national situation.
