Salaries of House surgeons, Ayush docs’ hiked in Odisha

Ahead of the general elections the Odisha government on Monday announced hikes
in the monthly stipend to house surgeons engaged in contractual basis in
various hospitals across the State as well as salaries of Ayush doctors serving
in there state government run hospitals.
As per
the notification while the monthly stipend for house surgeons working in the
state since 2013-14 has been hiked to Rs 15,000 from Rs 13,335, the salary of
Ayush doctors has been hiked to Rs 17,000 from the present Rs 12,000. The hike
will come into effect from April 1 this year.
As many
as 1516 Ayush doctors will be benefitted in the state. This was announced by
Health minister Dr Damodar Rout here.
