XIMB registers 100% placement in Xuberance 2014

Bhubaneswar: Premier B-school Xavier Institute of
Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), registered 100 per cent placements in its
annual campus recruitment drive – Xuberance 2014.
 

All the students of Post Graduate Diploma in
Management (PGDM) (Business Management) of 2012-14 batch grabbed lucrative job
offers. 
“Despite the prevailing uncertainty in market
conditions and the ever-increasing competitions, XIMB is proud for fruitful
completion of Xuberance’14 with 100 per cent placements for the PGDM (BM) batch
of 2012-2014,” said Prof Saveeta Mohanty, Faculty Coordinator, Placements.
For the PGDM in Business Management batch, the
highest domestic salary stood at Rs 18 Lakh per annum while the average annual
compensation stood at Rs 12.08 lakh per annum and the media annual compensation
stood at Rs 11.25 lakh per annum.
 The highest
international package offered was of USD 40,750 per annum.
For the PGDM-Rural Management (RM) batch, the
highest domestic salary stood at Rs 11.1 lakh per annum.  Similarly, for the PGDM-Human Resource
Management batch the highest domestic salary stood at Rs 18 lakh.
Fr. Paul Fernandes, Director- XIMB, said, “The
talent offered by PGDM (RM) program attracted recruiters from a wide spectrum
of sectors.”
“Our alumni have achieved unprecedented heights in
domains related to rural sector. It is an indicator of illustrious position of
our RM course in the industry,” added Prof Mohanty.
While Xuberance ‘14 saw the batch of 176 candidates
of PGDM (BM) programme participating in the placement process, 54 companies
participated of which 18 were new recruiters.
Similarly, Xuberance ’14 saw the PGDM (HRM) batch of
59 candidates participating in the placement process while 34 companies
participated out of which 18 were new recruiters.
Likewise, XIMB successfully completed placements for
its 2012-2014 Rural Management graduates. While a batch of 55 candidates of
PGDM-RM programme participated in the placement process, 24 companies
participated of which five were new recruiters.
